The goal of studies - development of new technological approaches to obtainment of dispersion-strengthed metal matrix composite materials (MMC), based on TiC - Al and TiC (TiB2) - iron-carbon alloy systems with increased heat resistance, strength and wear resistance. Methods of studies - methods of mathematic modelling, physical experiment, methods of optic and electron microscopy, X-ray structure and elementary X-ray spectrographic microanalysis, methods of indentation (Rockwell and Vickers hardness determination etc.). New approach in methods of obtainment of highly wear resistant dispersion-strengthed by nanoparticles composites is developed. It consists in the fact that dispersion-strengthening additives (namely, TіС, ТіВ2, Ti3AlC2, Ti2AlC, Al4C3, Аl3Ti) are not mechanically added to powder mixture as additional component during powders mixing, like it is done in conventional methods, but are instead synthesized during their HVED treatment as a result of reaction synthesis under the impact of spatial-distributed multispark discharge or spark discharge. Simplified technological scheme and technological recommendations for obtainment of multifunctional dispersion-strengthed by nanoparticles metal matrix composites are developed. MMC of Fe-Ti-C-(B) and Ti-Al-C systems, obtained according to proposed technological scheme, can be used for increasing wear resistance and heat resistance of different tools and construction materials for reactor steels with increased thermal stability, different engines etc. Product Description popup.authors Зайченко А.Д.
