The aim of the work is to improve the technology of growing rapeseed of the Dembo winter variety on the basis of the formation of optimal growing conditions for crops. Research methods: field - in order to establish the interaction of the research object with the factors that are set for the study and the natural environment by taking into account the yield and biometric measurements; visual - to identify phenological changes in plants; laboratory - determination of soil moisture, quality indicators of seeds; mathematical and statistical - for conducting analysis of variance and assessing the reliability of the results obtained; calculated and comparative - for the economic and energy assessment of the studied methods of cultivation. As a result of the assignment for 2016-2018. elements of the technological process of growing winter rape for the conditions of the south of Ukraine were improved, namely: the use of retardants fungicides Unique and Karamba Turbo during the autumn crop vegetation and during spring application in irrigated conditions of the south of Ukraine. Research has established that optimal conditions for the growth and development of winter rapeseed plants under irrigation conditions emerged with the use of Caramba Turbo and Uniquil preparations in the fall in the 4-5 leaf phase, in the spring in the 3rd decade of March. The average yield of seeds was, respectively, 2.85 t / ha and 2.61 t / ha. On control, this figure was, on average, in the fall - 2.46, in the spring - 2.28 t / ha. On average, the highest yields, by factor A (a fungicide-retardant), were obtained with the use of the drug Karamba Turbo in the autumn period - 2.67 t / ha, in the spring - 2.61 t / ha. The study of the effect of the term of application of the retardant fungicide (factor B) showed that the best period of using the preparations in the fall was the phase of development of plants of 4-5 leaves, in the spring - the 3rd decade of March. The yield at the same time amounted to 2.65 and 2.46 t / ha, for other variants of the experiment - 2.46; 2.55 t / ha and 2.42; 2.44 t / ha, respectively. Analysis of economic indicators in studies showed that the largest conditionally net profit - 58.6 thousand UAH / ha was obtained using the Karadba Turbo retardants fungicide in the fall in the development phase of 4-5 leaves with the lowest cost of 1 ton of seeds - 2.22 thousand. UAH / t and the highest level of profitability - 1105.7%. In the spring, the maximum conditional net profit - 81.5 thousand UAH / ha with the lowest cost of 1 ton of seeds - 3.22 thousand UAH / ton provided the introduction of the drug Karamba Turbo in the third decade of March, when they received the highest profitability - 1106.2%.
