The purpose of the work is the development and research of textile materials modified by multicore cubic dyes and by hydrometallurgy method to ensure protection of the person from UV radiation. Two methods of textile nanomodification have been developed and investigated: metal nanoparticles and multicore cubic dyes. UV absorbance spectra of the samples were measured using a multichannel optical spectrometer Solar SL40-2 and spectrometer Cary 50 UV-Vis there was determined an ultraviolet protection coefficient (UPF). The proposed nanomodification methods allow to obtain textile materials with UPF 50+, which according to the AS / NZ 4399: 1996 standard provides excellent protection against ultraviolet radiation and corresponds to the world's analogues.
