Their anti-barrotic effect in a concentrated and diluted state was investigated. Antivaroaceous effect of Devar was determined in comparison with Apihels drugs (ai thymol and essential oils), Bipin (ai amitraz) and formic acid (70%). It has been established that the advanced drug “Devar” was inferior in effectiveness only to “Bipin”. However, the control treatment of experimental bee colonies with the drug based on fluvalinate (Manhao) indicates that all of the studied drugs did not completely destroy the varro mite in the presence of a closed brood.
