The possibilities of national science and education for strengthening of humanitarian security are analyzed; ways of solving problems of legislative regulation of the language sphere are comprehended. Particular attention is paid to the humanitarian potential of ATO participants, the revival of historical memory as an instrument for the restoration of Ukrainian identity at Donbas. Problems of realization of sanction policy of Ukraine and taking into account national interests in the process of integration of Ukrainian science into the global research space are considered. The key processes and trends in the confessional environment in the context of the hybrid war are outlined. The most important aspects of the religious situation in Ukraine in 2017 are analyzed; the oppressions of religious freedom at the Russia-occupied territories are investigated; the process of formation of the Ukrainian Local Orthodox Church are considered; areas of improvement of the legislation concerning freedom of conscience and religion are proposed. The priorities of the national cultural policy for the socio-political consolidation of the Ukrainian society are formulated. The key challenges for the policy of national memory are analyzed, the necessity of using cultural means in restoration of the territories affected by the hostilities is emphasized; realization of the state policy of creative and cultural industries development is proposed.
