In the frame of the research there were studied modern scientific-technological and technological possibilities in defence sphere; actual issues of identification and implementation of critical technologies in the field of defence production; problem points of rebuilding of munitions' production by defence-industrial complex of Ukraine. Specific directions of implementing European and Euro-Atlantic standards into practice of defence production may be seen in involvement of Ukraine into cooperation with NATO, including as to strengthening forward presence of the Alliance; reform and redirection of defence enterprises on cooperation with NATO and EU, realization of Ukrainian-Canadian space rocket complex "Cyclone-4".
