The shifts of critical temperature of brittleness for reactor vessel base metal and weld metal is determined. Comparison of the experimental results and standard approaches for assessment of re-irradiation embrittlement is carried out. It is concluded that the rate of materials radiation strengthening due to re-irradiation after annealing does not exceed the value of primary irradiation. The reduction of the ductile properties of the weld metal depends on the phosphorus content in the material.
