Theoretical and practical results: The information technologies and software complex for the implementation of the system of adaptive optimal control of the processing process on heavy machines and the multilevel decision making system with elements of artificial intelligence have been developed. The system of mechatronic knots with information support for heavy machine tools is developed, which makes it possible to implement adaptive control in the manufacture of products from hard-working materials. Integrated technology of reinforcement is provided by the method of creating the necessary equipment with the definition of regime parameters. Novelty: A method for designing the assembly of metal-cutting machine tools based on the classification characteristics of the machined parts, taking into account operating loads and various factors of the work process and ensuring the required level of quality, accuracy, and productivity, is developed. The criteria, target functions and constraints for optimization of cutting modes during establishment of norms for heavy machine tools with CNC are substantiated.
