Research object - the information technology of CAD, created on the basis of integration with industrial CAD / CAE systems, multi-stage combined processes of severe plastic deformation (SPD) of new materials for obtaining volumetric nanostructured billets of parts for responsible designation. Research domain - the development and application of methods of knowledge engineering and intelligent data processing to enhance the intelligence and functionality of computerized modeling, design, structural and parametric optimization of multi-stage combined processes SPD of billets, detection of information-bearing process parameters and hidden dependencies between them. Theoretical and practical results - information technologies with the use of intellectual data processing and methods of artificial intelligence for automation of data processing and the formation of technological schemes for the processing of materials and the manufacture of products; categorical-ontological models for methods and algorithms of data processing; methods of parametric design automation of compact and noncompact materials deformation processes; models of the intellectual data analysis for the processing of the plastic deformation theoretical studies results and analysis of the stress-strain state of the workpieces; methods for reducing the dimension of the factor space; methods of converting the technological objects and processes measurements results. Developed: methodology for organizing knowledge bases on the domain area and methods of data processing on the basis of ontological approach and software that integrates various software technologies and packages using dynamic data exchange; composition of components and functions of the information system for designing optimal processes for obtaining parts with given mechanical characteristics; architecture and components of the software complex of ICAD processes of SPD based on integration with industrial CAD / CAE systems; components of ICAD to find optimal routes for multi-stage deformation processes based on the analysis of the stress-strain state of blanks from compact and non-compact materials for obtaining nanostructured blanks; Experimental researches of powder materials properties for the refinement of mathematical models used in CAE-systems; logical models and software for performing query to the ontology to find relevant data: analogues in databases and data repositories; algorithmic support and program realization of the complex for studying the application of empirical models based on the results of numerical simulation; as well as for structural and parametric optimization based on morphological analysis. Novelty - the developed mathematical and algorithmic support, as well as a set of software complexes that consistently solve the tasks of data processing and information support of engineering activities in the area of new compact and noncompact materials SPD processes. The variants of technical solutions for new SPD processes, which are developed on the basis of an ontological approach, are obtained. Implementation efficiency - the improvement of the methodology of creating information support systems for engineering activities based on the intellectual analysis of data and knowledge engineering methods that will support the adoption of technical solutions based on extracted knowledge from data and thus increase the productivity of designers and technologists. Scope of application - processes of activity the substantive areas analysis in organizational and technical systems, in the implementation of the project and the preparation of products, including in mechanical engineering. The improvement of the information system is based on the development and use of the subject area ontological models and software systems based on knowledge engineering methods.
