The aim of the work is to study the features of state sovereignty in conditions when, on the one hand, the differences in all spheres of public life of states are gradually eroding, and on the other hand, states try to preserve their identity, national features. The relevance of the study is due to the fact that Ukraine is building a new state, which arose on the ruins of the USSR. Other European countries that belong to the socialist system are doing the same process. In these conditions it is important to know whether to seek full sovereignty or to confine oneself to incomplete state sovereignty. Theoretical and practical results - theoretical analysis of the problems connected with the course of political processes in the conditions of globalization and their influence on state sovereignty is conducted. The influence of globalization processes on the formation of national states is analyzed, interconnection of implementation of regional social policy and its influence on state sovereignty of Ukraine in modern conditions are considered. It is explored and shown how the market reforms carried out in modern Ukraine serve as a means of its sovereignty. The field of application of results - the results of scientific research can be used in the development and formation of modern regional policy, as well as in market and political reforms.
