The purpose of the work is to improve the above mentioned methods on the basis of the development of new mathematical models and the widespread use of information technologies, to increase the didactic level of their teaching in the training courses. Research methods and equipment: theoretical analysis, mathematical modeling, packages of applied computer programs, modern computing equipment. On the basis of Lagrange-Maxwell's electromechanical analogies, mathematical models of a number of devices and appliances have been developed, most of which are implemented within the Mathcad system. The created models allow to intensify the search of an optimum combination of parameters of electromechanical products and at the expense of this considerably reduce terms and material expenses for their designing. Distribution of equivalent stresses in beams of different profile with static loading under conditions of flat bending has been investigated. A new, simplified technique for complete verification of durability of I-beams is proposed, which is based on the use of so-called safe factor spaces and allows to quickly check the performance of the conditions of strength under normal, tangent and equivalent stresses. The algorithms of computer realization of this method in the interactive and automated modes have been developed. The accuracy of the existing method of force calculation of beams in the conditions of forced oscillations in media with low resistance is analyzed and quantified. The reasons and factors of underestimation of this method of the values of the dynamic forces and stresses arising in the beams are indicated, the way of its improvement is proposed. The process of loading of fasteners of a group of threaded joints during successive tightening is investigated. A mathematical model is created and implemented, which allows to calculate the tightening effort at different variants of its sequence. The recommendations for choosing these options are given. An analysis of existing didactic methods of higher education was conducted, their effectiveness assessed, the most effective ways of improving the level of teaching of technical disciplines were identified, which included manuals for solving problems of higher complexity, conducting subject competitions and application of distance learning system on the MOODLE platform. The kinematics of hinged quadrilateral mechanism as an example of the use of the Mathcad package of computer algebra in the course of theoretical mechanics has been investigated. It is shown that this methodical tool, together with the innovative activity approach, is of wide pedagogical possibilities. Dependences between angles of rotation of a crank, a connecting rod and a rocker arm, and also between their angular velocities are obtained. The dependence of the calculation error on the ratio of the lengths of the crank and the connecting rod is determined in percentages. Acquired results are recommended for use in other sections of theoretical mechanics, in courses of other technical disciplines, as well as in the development of electronic textbooks and organization of distance learning. Implementation of the results of the provided work is planned during 2019-2020 academic year within the courses of technical disciplines of higher educational establishments, as well as for domestic enterprises of machine building and construction industries.
