Widespread use in agriculture, as well as in the chemical industry, medicine, etc. and simultaneously high toxicity of these xenobiotics have a significant risk of intoxication, especially among children. The task was to develop new highly sensitive methods that would assess the biological, environmental and medical safety of organophosphorus compounds. To do this, a new biological model for such studies using Danio rerio aquarium fish has been created. Changes in a number of hematological, biochemical, D. Rerio parameters influenced by chlorpyrifos, as well as changes in their pigmentation and behavior, which can be used as indicator parameters in assessing the toxic effects of the studied xenobiotic and other organophosphorus compounds, have been shown.
