The object of research is a technological process and a technical means for forming a combined stove covering in accordance with technological proposals and requirements. Subject of research - regularities of the influence of structural and technological parameters of working bodies of the technical means on the qualitative indicators of the process of making a composite litter. An experimental sample of equipment for the technological process of introducing litter straws on cattle farms based on the forage catcher of the KTU-10A was developed and manufactured. Experimental samples were tested on dairy farms. The necessary technological parameters are established: the width of the spreading band from 1.5 m to 6 m, the productivity of the equipment from 0.3 kg to 9 kg / box, the time of placing straw on a row in 74 boxes - 5 minutes. Recommendations on the formation of a combined bedding for cows' standing with the use of equipment have been developed.
