The highest methanoproduction was carried out by Methanosarcina bacteria isolated from chicken litter, cultivated on methanol (14%), and Methanothrix and Methanoculleus, selected from pork nymphs on acetate (5%). The conversion efficiency of pure culture is 3% lower than the conversion by an anaerobic consortium. Growing associations of anaerobic bacteria on a nutrient medium with the addition of methanol gave the maximum yield of methane 59% in the stationary phase of the growth of bacterial association at 79 days of cultivation. The method of determination of quantitative content of biogas components by volumometric method for using the laboratory gas analyzer GHL-1 has been worked out. The proposed list of absorption solutions and the sequence of their use. Catalytic oxidation of hydrogen and methane is recommended at a temperature of 900-950 oC in an electric furnace equipped with a thermocouple and an automatic temperature controller. The biogas obtained in the laboratory had the following composition: residual moisture and NH3 - 6.6%; H2S - 4.2%; СО2 - 21,4%; H2 1.08%; CH4 - 65.22%, N2 - 1.49%.
