The purpose of the work is to improve the theoretical and methodological basis of constructing a complex structure of the institutional autonomy management system of the institution of higher education. Research methods: systemic, process-functional, conceptual, synergetic, autonomous-oriented, marketing-oriented and personally-oriented approaches; methods of induction and deduction, dynamic analysis, structural analysis, cluster analysis. The technique of construction of system of information and analytical evaluation of components of institutional autonomy of the HEI in accordance with the needs of the national economy and society is proposed; its economic, mathematical and informational basis was developed with the use of economic and mathematical methods and modern software packages of applied programs and information envelopes is developed; substantiated methodical recommendations for building of adaptive systems of strengthening components of institutional autonomy of HEI due to the definition of rational forms of interaction with structures of national labor market and international counterparts; the methodical and informational and model support of the system of self-assessment of the autonomy of the HEI on the basis of creation of software elements for its estimation is developed; the complex structured system of management of institutional autonomy of the HEI is constructed; the technology self-assessments of autonomy HEI is developed. The main results of the research were introduced in the educational process of Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics in educational disciplines: "Economic statistics", "Analysis of social and demographic processes" and adopted for implementation in the activities of the Department of Education and Science of Kharkov Regional State Administration, the Main Department of Statistics in the Kharkiv region, Ternopil National Economic University, State Higher Educational Institution "Donbas State Pedagogical University".
