The purpose of the study is to expand the raw material base of the ferrous metallurgy and significantly reduce the environmental burden on the environment by processing iron and manganese ores and creating a new type of pelletized raw materials.The research method - in solving project problems, physicochemical methods for determining the properties and composition of industrial wastes, thermogravimetric, petrographic, metallographic, analytical and other research methods were used to determine the kinetic patterns of heat treatment and recovery processes by using various reducing agents to substantiate and select the main process parameters; methods of vibrometry, strain gauging. The basis for developing a new technology for recycling metallurgical wastes is the hypothesis about the possibility of creating a new type of metallurgical raw materials, the high consumer properties of which are provided by the influence on the starting material in the process of synthesis (pelletizing) of the charge.
