The purpose of the work: to increase the accuracy of the vertical size of strip steel rolled stick due to automatic compensation of the influence of rolls' eccentricity. Research methodology: patent search and analysis of known technical solutions, analytical study of rolling features with eccentricity of rolls, computer simulation modeling. The analysis of existing technical solutions is carried. It concerns automatic compensation of eccentricity of rolls during rolling sheets on cold and hot rolling mills. A new method of compensating eccentricity is suggested. This method involves the use of the active search method to find out the parameters of forced fluctuations of the roll gap in the antiphase to the eccentricities caused by uncontrolled changes in the gap. The structure of the automated system that implements the indicated method is described, and its efficiency is proved by computer simulation.
