The lectin extraction process was improved; lectin’s physical and chemical properties as long as bioactivities were studied. The technique of the lectin incorporation into liposome was elaborated. Bioactivities, physical and chemical properties of the liposome were investigated. It was shown that liposome incorporated lectin have no hematotoxicity which is typical to free lectin. The anticancer activity of the liposome incorporated lectin was evaluated on various tumors models (Walker carcinosarcoma 256, Guerin carcinoma, Ehrlich carcinoma, Lewis lung carcinoma). It was demonstrated that the anticancer effect of the liposome incorporated lectin depended on the tumor model, for example it was highly effective against hormone-dependent Walker carcinosarcoma 256..
