Bogatsky, Physico-Chemical Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2 Research object - Synthesis, structure and complex formation ability of bis(benzocrown ethers) containing Tr?ger's base fragments as linking crown-ether cycles platform. A purpose of work is synthesis of bis(benzocrown ethers) containing Tr?ger's base fragments as linking crown-ether cycles platform, the study of their complexation with alkali metal cations and salts of aliphatic diamines. Comparison of the complexing properties of bis(benzocrown ethers) with the fragments of diphenylglycoluril and Tr?ger's base. Research methods - synthetic, UV, NMR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry. The synthesis method was optimized and Tr?ger's bases, containing fragments of benzo-15-crown-5, benzo-18-crown-6, benzo-21-crown-7, and tetrafluorobibenzo-18-crown-6 were obtained with yields of 70-88%. The complexation of the obtained molecular tweezers with alkali metal cations and salts of aliphatic diamines was studied. The obtained stability constants of the formed complexes showed that the stability of the 1:1 complexes of the previously obtained molecular clips with a diphenylglycoluryl fragment with alkali metal cations is higher than for Tr?ger's bases, but the general tendencies of complexation remain. Among the Tr?ger's bases obtained, the most stable complexes with diamine salts form molecular tweezer with a benzo-18-crown-6 fragment, maximum binding is observed for the complex with hexamethylenediamine dihydrochloride and gradually decreases with decreasing length of the methylene chain. It is concluded that the fragment of the Tr?ger's base is much less pre-organized for the formation of complexes than the diphenylglycoluryl fragment. Product Description popup.authors Богащенко Т.Ю.
