The purpose of the study is to develop more advanced methods for improving the productivity and quality of single-seeded beet beet and the creation of new varieties and hybrids that meet the needs of agricultural production. Methods of research - laboratory and field using hybridization, saturated crosses, inbreeding and sampling. As a result of investigation, was conducted selection of single-seeded high-yielding number of fodder beets from breeding nurseries. 14 prospective number were received. In the summer sowing, 17 number of candidates were selected in the sterilizers. To the State register of sorts of plant suitable for distribution in Ukraine was introduced the sort of fodder beetroot Rubicon which is recommended for cultivation in the zone of Forest-steppe and Polisya.
