During the research, it was found that with an increase of the concentrations of Mn (II) and Cu (II) ions in the medium, their toxic effect on the growth of strains was more pronounced in the wild strain than in the model strain in which recombinant human alpha-synuclein was synthesized. It can testify to the chelator properties of this protein. In addition, the excess of Mn (II) and Cu (II) ions led to a more pronounced increase in the content of lipid modification products and catalase activity in wild type strains of cell lysates compared to the alpha synuclein producing strain. The influence of alpha-synuclein on the oxidative modification of proteins was not very pronounced. Ions Mn (II) and Cu (II) had an inhibitory effect on the biosynthesis of the synuclein, but did not cause its aggregation.
