According to specification and work schedule for 2018 year the following work was planned: manufacturing of laser experimental module, investigation of laser module characteristics, the influence of the environment on the parameters of the laser, refinement of optical scheme, elements and electronic blocks according to the experimental research results.The pump module is based on the laser diode matrix from JENOPTIK Laser GmbH, Germany. A power supply and a cooling system for the laser diodes have been developed. The block diagram and the layout of the power supply unit of the pump diodes are developed according to the agreement with the Scientific-Production Enterprise "Institute of Analytical Methods of Control". Produced and tested passive q-switch based on polymer matrices, supplementedwithpolymethinedyes. Developed and manufactured optical elements of the laser emitter (partially transparent dielectric mirror and mirror that reflects more than 99.9 % of light). Installation and adjustment of optical elements were made. Preliminary experimental experiments on focusing laser radiation on distant distances with energy sufficient for solving set tasks have been performed.
