Requirements apply to the SSS calculation and the assessment of the resistance to the destruction of WWER-1000 reactors, the welding units of the coolant collector to the branches of the PGV-1000M steam generator and the fence, as the most exposed element of the internal-body devices of the reactor. The basic requirements for the assessment of the degradation degree of metal reactor shells and NPP's the 1st circuit equipment due to radiation and thermal embrittlement have been developed. The necessity of thoroughly substantiating the applied experimental procedures and methods of processing the test results, as well as the procedures for estimating and predicting the radiation embrittlement of the metal reactor shell for the project and over-project life-time is indicated.
