The aim of the work is to create a collection of genotypes of sorghum sugar with the attraction of world varietal potential and analysis and selection of high-performance plant forms for conveyor support of the production of liquid biofuels of the second generation of energy raw materials and improvement of the technology of biobutanol production using new strains producing sorghum substrate. The subject of research is the genotypes of sugar sorghum (Sorghum saccharatum (L.) Moench) and new strains producing biobutanol. When performing research, general scientific and special research methods were used. Information sources were screened for the existing global potential of sugar sorghum genotypes and highly efficient technologies for the production and processing of raw materials for the production of liquid biofuels. The variety of genotypes of sugar sorghum from the available world fund has been mobilized (43 samples). Biological and morphological features, the yield potential of plants have been established, and the biochemical composition of plant raw materials has been determined during different periods of vegetation, in particular during the technical ripeness of the above-ground plant mass. Dedicated production forms and varieties of sugar sorghum by yield, dry matter content, sugars and energy value of raw materials during flowering and waxy ripeness. The analysis of the technological properties of plant biomass for the production of alternative liquid fuels (in particular, biobutanol and bioethanol) was carried out. Screening of producer strains of biobutanol for cultivation of sorghum (juice, biomass, bagasse) was carried out. It was proved that biomass, juice and bagasse sorghum were converted by strains, while the accumulation of butanol depended on the substrate and its preparation. It was established that the greatest accumulation of butanol was due to the use of the strain Clostridium sp. IMO B-7570 and chopped sorghum biomass (1.5 g / l) as a substrate, and strain Clostridium acetobutylicum IMO B-7407 and sorghum juice (8.2 g / l). Published 13 scientific papers. Registered in the National Depository of Microorganisms of the Institute of Microbiology and Virology. D.K. Zabolotnogo NAS of Ukraine three strains-producers. Pass the qualification examination of 2 varieties of sorghum sugar Botanical (application number 10472003) and Energodar (application number 13241005). Product Description popup.authors Андріяш Г.С.
