The aim of the study is to determine the efficacy of the integrated use of the "VIIA" fiber carrier for the purpose of secondary treatment of industrial wastewater found in sludge tanks of the "Zaporizhstal" PJSC plant. According to the results of our research, we have found that on the developed surface of the fibrous carrier's "floaters" installed amidst the wastewater of the sewage hydrosystems belonging "Zaporizhstal" PJSC the mature bacterial biota and periphyton are formed, which are characterized by a great biodiversity and density, and this contributes to the intensification of biological wastewater purification process from petroleum products. The novelty of the work is that for the first time the use of "VIIA" fiber carrier as an agent for purifying sewage from petroleum products located inside the plant's wastewater treatment facilities has been researched during the summer-autumn period. "VIIA" fibrous carrier can be used by industrial enterprises and utility companies for a more efficient treatment of wastewater.
