The reaction of halo-lactonization of 7-allyl-substituted pyrrolo[2,3-d]pyrimidine-6-carboxylic acids was studied. A new approach to the synthesis of alkylphosphonates and alkylcarboxylic acids of the pyrrolo[2,3-d]pyrimidine series has been developed. The results obtained can be used for a targeted search for inhibitors of enzymes for the synthesis of nucleic acids.
