A rigid transparent transducer detector housing is manufactured, which is equipped with long charge-compensating leads. To enhance the current pulses from a diamond detector-dosimeter, a pre-amplifier based on InGaP HBT chips has been upgraded. The upgraded preamplifier has a wider bandwidth and noise that does not depend on the capacitance of the detector, in contrast to the amplifiers developed by the classical scheme of a charge-sensitive amplifier with capacitive feedback. Diamond plates with contact coatings, developed in Section 1 of the project, are mounted in the detector body. The test of the created detector for irradiation by alpha particles has been performed. The results showed a confident detection of ionizing events caused by alpha particles with the registration of the given pulses with amplitudes of 70-200 mV and 3-5 picosecond duration. On the whole, a new diagnostic tool has been received, which meets the modern requirements of radiation therapy.
