The main part of the experimental setup is a separation flow visualization system behind poorly streamlined bodies. The process of visualization of the separated flow is synchronized in time with the processes of measuring the kinematic and hydrodynamic characteristics of the body. Criteria for modeling non-stationary motion of bodies were determined. Conducted test tests of several canonical bodies (disk and cone) in order to verify the methodology of the experimental studies.
