The aim of the work is to obtain relatively stable, but reactive complexes of amides with halogens and interhalogens, to study their structure, chemical bonds of halogen-amide in the solid state, solution and gas phase. Research methods - UV, IR, NMR, X-ray structural analysis, elemental analysis, general techniques of synthetic and preparative chemistry. Some adducts of N, N'-diacetylpiperazine with iodine and iodine molecules have been synthesized and isolated, their crystal structures have been investigated. Measurements of electrical conductivity and UV spectra of their solutions were carried out. The combination of experimental data with quantum chemical calculations allowed us to describe the chemical bonds of halogen-amide in the solid state, solution, and gas phase. The molecular and crystal structure of halogen and interhalogen IX (X = Cl, Br, I) adducts with N, N'-diacetylpiperazine was investigated, their properties in solution were studied using a combination of density functional theory, single-crystal X-ray analysis, electrical conductivity and UV spectral measurements in acetonitrile solutions.
