The purpose of the work is to increase the efficiency of incubation of waterfowl eggs. Methods of research - microbiological, zootechnical, embryological, and statistical. The method of pre-incubation treatment of waterfowl eggs has been improved and the effectiveness of modern preparations used for disinfection of eggs has been studied. It has been established that for the pre-incubation treatment of waterfowl eggs, 5% of "Lasept-forte" preparations should be used, and 5% "Brovadez", which showed themselves as effective antimicrobial and antifungal agents and had a positive effect on the incubation results. The egg hatchability in these groups was significantly higher (on average 2-4%) than in control. The possibility of using modern preparations of "Polidez", "Virosan", "Lasept-forte", "Brovades", "ТH4 +" for processing eggs during incubation (from the 20th day ) is estimated. . As a result of the search for optimal concentrations for egg irrigation, it was found that the best effect on the results of incubation is carried out by "Lasept-forte" preparations at a concentration of 0.5% and "Brovadez" at a concentration of 0.05%. The egg hatchability in these experimental groups was higher by 1.5% compared with control (irrigation by "Lasept Forte") and 2.5% (irrigating by "Brovades"), The method of storing of incubation eggs of ducks and geese is improved, which consists in washing and disinfecting eggs with a 1.5% solution of hydrogen peroxide, followed by disinfection of a 0.3% solution of the preparation "Polidez" before laying eggs for storage for up to 10 days. Application of the method allows to get 2-3% better indicators of egg hatchability compared with control. Improved methods of storage, incubation and disinfection of waterfowl eggs have been tested and implemented, and relevant documents have been received. According to the results, the use of improved methods led to an increase in hatchability of duck eggs by an average of 3.1%, and eggs of geese - by 2.4%. The economic effect per 1000 eggs laied for incubation amounted to 372 UAH for duck eggs, 1080 UAH for geese eggs. Recommendations for the use of improved methods of storage and disinfection of waterfowl eggs are included in the methodical manual.
