It has been shown that for these samples the efficiency of a detection of beta-particles of 90Sr isotope sorbed from the aqueous sample is in the range of 83 to 90 %. The measurements of the sorption degree of 90Sr isotope by a polycrystalline scintillator and the relative fraction of a sorbent in the samples after their saturation were carried out. The dependence of the detected activity of samples A as the function of the introduced activity А0 by 90Sr isotope was investigated. It was obtained that the dependence of A as a function of А0 has a linear character. The simulation of light collection processes in polycrystalline samples was carried out and the coefficients of light collection and the absolute light yield were calculated.
