Membranotropic effects of different cerium compounds were established. Stabilized nanoparticles of cerium oxide (diameter 2 nm and 10 nm) were shown to be indifferent to the model lipid membrane. Meanwhile cerium in cationic form (Се3+) caused essential increase of lipid package in the membrane. In the presence of cerium nitrate and cerium ammonium nitrate, membrane disruption took place. Generally, it was established that membranotropic effect of cerium is strongly dependent on its ionic surrounding. Product Description popup.authors Ващенко О.В.
