The scheme of the stages of theoretical and methodological ascent to the quality of pedagogical education is developed and the components of the quality of vocational and pedagogical training in methodological and theoretical dimensions are substantiated on its basis. A strategy for the development of pedagogical education in Ukraine was drafted (strategy structure - 11 concepts of different functional orientations containing the integral set of future oriented ideas, principles, mechanisms, goals and tasks of updating the educational educational branch). According to the results of the experiment, in order to monitor the quality of pedagogical education, the following curriculum has been developed and implemented: the curriculum "Direction of pedagogical action"; trainings for teachers of pedagogical educational institutions "Internal and external pedagogical techniques", "Culture and technology of speech of the teacher"; methods of diagnostics, identification and distribution of pedagogical experience of teachers; Eight outreach seminars were held with teachers of urban and rural schools on monitoring the quality of pedagogical skills in the context of the implementation of the Concept "New Ukrainian School".
