The main condition for the effective use of genetic capacities of potatoes is timely varietal replacement. The increase in yield from this measure reaches up to 50% compared to varieties that have been in production for a long time. In the Register of plant varieties suitable for cultivation in Ukraine there are 157 sorties, including: early 53 (34%), medium-term 48 (31%), middle-aged 40 (25%), middle-late 15 (9%), late 1 (1%) . Of these, 52% of domestic selection. As you know, varieties of domestic breeding occupy a prominent position in terms of varietal resources in potato-growing in Ukraine. Most of them have advantages over foreign analogues, first of all by the level of adaptation to conditions of cultivation, resistance to diseases, the content of dry matter and starch, which determine the stable indices of taste properties of tubers. The purpose of the research is to develop methods for the basic, basic seed potatoes in the conditions of the Carpathian region of Ukraine, taking into account the adaptability of the variety and introducing them into the seed process and providing producers with highly productive planting material. Tests of different varieties of potatoes were conducted in the field of special crop rotation of the Precarpathian SSGDS IGGKR NAAS of Ukraine, which is characterized by a flat terrain with a working slope of 0.60, chernozem is podzolized with a heavy loamy mechanical composition of soil, bedrocking rocks - carbonates, depth of an arable layer of 30 cm. Studied 9 varieties of different groups of ripeness, which are listed in the Register of plant varieties, suitable for cultivation in Ukraine. The water regime of the soil is unstable and completely dependent on weather conditions, resulting in the growth and development of potato depression both in arid and during periods of excessive rainfall. In the conditions of the southwest Prykarpattya of Ukraine, the preference for yield per year of the test is established for varieties of plant varieties listed in the Register of Plants suitable for cultivation in Ukraine during the last years. Among all the varieties tested the most yielding crops 70 and 42 thousand pcs / ha in conditions of spatial isolation and intensive infection of potatoes: - medium-sized - Green grove (34.3 and 26.1 and 39.3 and 25.6 t / ha), Sluch (39, and 23.4 and 41.5 and 26.2 t / ha), Perechynskaya (31 , 6 and 19.9 and 36.0 and 20.6 t / ha); The middle class is Legend (39.7 and 24.6 and 45.6 and 31.6 t / ha); The average late - Gorodenovsk (33.6 and 24.1 and 35.9 and 28.6 t / ha). The average growth rate of potato crop is set at 59 and 40%, with a density of 70 thousand plants per hectare versus 42 thousand pcs. / Ha. The highest seed yields in the years of the study were varieties: Horodenkivska (16.7 and 11.9 and 18.2 and 8.4 t / ha), Sluch (19.6 and 10.9 and 22.4 and 13.2 t / ha), Spas (15.1 and 11.1 and 15.8 and 12.1 t / ha), Green grove (15.5 and 11.2 and 24.4 and 10.1 t / ha), Perechynskaya ( 11,9 and 6,2 and 14,6 and 18,9 t / ha), Legend (14,2 and 8,8 and 16,1 and 15,4 t / ha). The yield of conditioned seeds was 96-580 thousand pieces / ha depending on the variety. The growth of seed productivity of potatoes at a density of 70 thousand pcs / ha compared with 42 thousand pcs / ha, respectively, is 93 and 47%. In absolute terms, the coefficient of adaptability of potato varieties in two variants (potato crops with intensive infection and with spatial isolation) was, according to the varieties: Green grove (1.11 and 1.12 and 1.15 and 1.10), Sluch (1, 24 and 1.11 and 1.47 and 1.0), Legend (1.33 and 1.15 and 1.13 and 1.36), Gorodenkivska (1.12 and 1.17 and 1.09 and 1, 24). The defeat of the potato, in the process of reproduction, twisting leaves was 1.2-5.6%. The most affected twist of potato leaves in 2016-2018 were varieties: Gorodenovskaya - 5.6, 4.8 and 4.4 and 4.4, 4.7 and 5.0%, Miracle - 5.3, 5.5 and 4.9 and 3.6, 3.0 and 4.7%, Perechynsk - 4.9, 4.6 and 3.6 and 3.6, 4.0 and 3.6%, respectively. which meets the requirements of the state standard DSTU 4013-2001. With a planting density of 42 thousand pieces / ha, the defeat of potatoes with the disease of leaf twisting was established in the varieties Diva - 5,5, 4,5 and 4,0% and 3,0, 3,6 and 3,9, Gorodenkivsk - 4,8 , 3.8 and 4.1 and 4.5, 5.0 and 4.8%, Perechynsk - 4.6, 3.9 and 2.8 and 4.0, 3.2 and 39%, which meets the requirements the state standard DSTU 4013-2001. The most resistant to this 3 disease are varieties of Cimmeria, 3lement grove and Sluch. In 2017, the damage to the studied varieties of potato varieties was not noted. In 2018, the worst varieties of Vira (11.2 and 18.4% and 10.0 and 8.8%) and Divo (18.3 and 4.7 and 15.4 and 14.9%) were the most affected. The most resistant to viral diseases in the year of the study were varieties of potatoes Green Guy, Cimmeria, Sluch, Faith and Legend. Damage of potato tubers with dry rot in 2016 was from 3.2 to 28.6 percent.
