The analysis of seasonal dynamics of indicators of bactericidal, lysozyme activity of blood serum, index of completeness of phagocytosis, albumin content, globulins, total protein shows the least resistance of the organism of Hutsul horses to the action of pathogenic factors in the spring period, compared with other seasons of the year. In the spring, with a background of the lowest serum total protein content, markedly low albumin levels were noted. The seasonal dynamics of changes in the factors of nonspecific resistance of the organism is expressed for all subjects being studied, and for the indicators BASK, LASK, IZF these changes are sexually independent but unidirectional, and the change in composition of blood serum proteins is sexually differentiated. Methods of preservation and improvement of Hutsul breed of horses and principles of formation of breeding herds of Hutsul breed of horses with high genetic traits of breeding qualities have been developed. Recommendations for conservation, improvement and intensive breeding of the gene pool of Hutsul breed of horses have been developed. Measures have been developed to increase the non-specific resistance of Hutsul breed of horses. The problem of preservation, reproduction and mass improvement of Hutsul breed of horses in Ukraine should be solved by creating breeding enterprises, the formation of breeding herds using pure breeding breeding with the intensive use of stallion-enhancers. One of the most important conditions for the desired success of breeding work with the Hutsul breed of horses is the strict selection and selection of stallions and mare, and the establishment of zootechnical records.
