The purpose of the study is to in theory to ground and work out professionograms after the basic types of constabulary activity. Research methods are select, coming from put in-process aim and tasks, taking into account his object and object. Theoretical analysis, synthesis, comparison, design, generalization, systematization, study and analysis of literature on issue of research and normatively-legal base of the National police of Ukraine - for finding out of theoretical aspects of activity of workers of police, maintenance and structure of professional fitness to the basic types of activity, forms and methods of realization of professional psychological selection of candidates on positions in a police, theoretical ground of the normatively-legal and psychological providing of constabulary activity after her basic kinds; analysis of department normative and methodical documents arcival materials, generalization of advanced experience of practical work of the most skilled psychologists, workers of skilled vehicles and leaders of different level with the aim of exposure and determination of the state of the investigated problem. Got results: a manual is prepared sanctified to the question of psychological study of professional activity, her to the professionography analysis. The key aspects of range of problems of both general theoretic and applied character are reflected. Base positions of professionography are considered, her essence and maintenance, structural constituents, typology, research methods are exposed. It is resulted worked out professionograms of three basic types of constabulary activity (investigator, operational officer of criminal search (criminal police), district officer of police). The results of the psychological testing became empiric soil of the conducted work 750 the Main police-offices of the National police from 25 regions of Ukraine. Present material takes into account organizational and legislative changes that took place in the process of reformation of law enforcement authorities, contains recommendations that can be used practical psychologists and specialists of constabulary commissions at a selection and attestation of personnel of police, and also used as informative basis for organization of skilled work.
