The model of the influence of structural parameters of feed and rations on the digestion of nutrients in the gastrointestinal tract was created. It was established that the average particle size of the rumen, duodenal chime and feces were decreased when the average particle size of the rations has been increased. The size of particles of the ration roughage from 60 to 70 mm creates optimal physiological conditions for the ruminant digestion.
