Research methods - theoretical analysis of hydrological processes and phenomena, statistical processing of hydrometeorological characteristics, discriminant analysis, methods of geographical generalization. Accuracy check and adaptation to the current climate of the calculated and prognostic methods of the characteristics of the maximum flow of the spring flood were carried out; generalization of statistical parameters of hydrochemical parameters. The spatial distribution of the calculated and forecast characteristics of the spring flood of rivers, the dynamics of the statistical parameters of hydrochemical indicators and water quality indices of the rivers of the Dnieper basin was studied.
