The results of the research work are the analysis and systematization of the well-known (introduced into scientific circulation) and new historical (museological) sources, which allows a new way of considering the formation of the museum collection of the NMU and the composition of its collections. The obtained scientific results, published by the subjects of the subject in a number of scientific publications and speeches at scientific and practical conferences, allow their practical and theoretical use: - when creating new sections of the museum exposition and the construction of museum exhibitions, - preparation of expert opinions and analytical references, official answers to letters, speeches in the media, etc. The results of the research work are used in practical museum activities and can be used to create new generalizations and specialized studies on various aspects of the late Middle Ages, early modern and new history of Ukraine, in the preparation of training courses on museology and history in higher educational institutions of Ukraine.
