The purpose of the work: еvaluation of breeding material by duration of vegetation period and productivity. Research methods: hybridization, selection of plants,field and laboratory, production, statistical analysis. The main results of the research: in 2018, 48 crosses were made, in which hybrid seeds were obtained in 35 combinations. Commercial varieties, collection samples, fasciantes and multi-flower forms, as well as forms with dense pubescence and high protein content and wild Ussuri soybeans were used as parent components. In the breeding nursery, 130 homozygous lines were selected for testing by the control nursery of the following year. The initial material for breeding soybeans was created, on the basis of which ultra-early ripening, early ripening and mid-ripening high-performance breeding numbers were obtained in all nurseries. In the competitive variety testing of ultra early maturity numbers, the most productive were: 424-15, 125-15, 654-17, 79-15, 791-15, which, with a seed yield level of 3.51-3.19 t/ha, the duration of the growing season, 106 -104 days exceeded the standard Legend variety by 1.49-1.17 t/ha. In the competitive variety testing of early maturity numbers, a high yield of soybean seeds was provided by 604-14, 441-15, 797-09, which, with a growing season of 109-117 days, the seed yield level of 3.90-2.92 t/ha exceeded the standard Robin 1, 22-0.74 t/ha. In competitive variety testing of mid-season numbers, the most productive were 9788-16, 9796-16, 9740-16, which, with a growing season of 122-115 days, the seed yield level of 3.83-3.66 t/ha exceeded the standard grade Kiev 98 by 1 , 27-1.10 t/ha. In the control nursery, ultra early and early maturities were selected, the best of which were 118-17, 725-17,923-17, 182-17, 474-17, 232-17, 211-17,419-17, 142-17, 910-17, 512 -17, which, with a growing season of 110-117 days, a seed yield level of 4.03-3.51 t/ha, exceeded the Severka standard by 1.41-0.89 t/ha, as well as mid-season numbers: 139-17, 934-17, 715-17, 130-17, 521-17, 916-17, 420-17, 788-17, 177-17, which, with a growing season of 113-128 days, the seed yield level is 4.30-3 , 65 t/ha exceeded the standard Kyivska 98 by 1.49-0.84 t/ha.
