The purpose of the work: to study the prevalence of cancers with a defined screening status for development of organizational and legal model for introduction of population screening in Ukraine, with use of the National Cancer Registry data. Methods of research: medical informatics, descriptive epidemiology, mathematical statistics. The international experience of screening has been studied; it has been ascertained that inclusion of breast, cervical and colorectal cancers in screening programs is appropriate with regard to the medical, social and economic reasons. During 2006-2016, cancer incidence rate in Ukraine increased by 10.3% and cancer mortality rate decreased by 9.8%. For the ten years, the breast cancer incidence increased by 10.2% with peak of incidence in 65-69 age group in 2016, and the increment of the rate of this age group was 29.3%; cervical cancer incidence remained similar with peak incidence rate in 45-49 age group in 2016, and the increment of the rate in this age group was 14.0%; colorectal cancer incidence was growing steadily and increased by 8.1% in males and by 5.2% in females, with peak of incidence in 75-79 age group regardless of gender. During 2006-2016 breast cancer mortality rates decreased by 9.2%, for colorectal cancer these rates did not change significantly, and for cervical cancer an increase of mortality rate by 3.6% has been reported. Cancer incidence in female population of reproductive age decreased by 8.0% for cervical cancer, increased by 21.5% for breast cancer and by 15.6% for cancer of colon; in male population colon cancer incidence decreased by 9.6%. In 2016, of patients with reproductive age, the advanced stage of cancer had 21.2% women with breast cancer, 17.4% - with cervical cancer, and 22.3-23.6% patients with colorectal cancer. Special treatment received 99.8% patients of reproductive age with breast cancer, 87.0% - with cervical cancer, and for colorectal cancer - 90.2% of females and 85.5% of males. It is predicted for 2026 the increment by 23.4% of cervical cancer incidence rate in the reproductive age group; for breast cancer patients of age group under 29 years - the increment by 31.8%, of age group 30-39 - the stabilization of the rate at the level of 27.5 0/0000, and in group aged 40-49 - 78.6 0/0000. In patients with rectal cancer for female patients aged 30-39 an increase of incidence rate by 18.5% is predicted, for males of this age - by 4.8%; and for age group of 40-49 years an increase by 10.7% in male population and stabilization of the rate in females is predicted.
