TREATY ON OPEN SKIES, OBSERVATION AIRCRAFT, AERIAL DIGITAL SURVEILLANCE SUITE, VERIFICATION, TECHNOLOGY, MODERNIZATION, CERTIFICATION The object of research is the complex of the observations from the Ukrainian aircraft within the framework of the Open Skies Treaty (OST). The subject of research is the technologies for the modernization of the Ukrainian observation aircraft suite and its certification methodology. The goal of study is the development of the scientific and methodological maintenance for the modernization of the Ukrainian observation aircraft and carrying out its international certification in accordance with the OST requirements. The methods used for the study are the techno-economic, qualitative and costing analyses, as well as optimization of the processes and systems, the simulation of optical imaging processes, and optical spectral analysis. The base equipment is the precision field-portable spectroradiometer FieldSpec 3FR. The basic elements of Treaty are given and the aerial surveillance suites of member-states of the Treaty are considered. The contemporary trends in the evolution for the flight technical means for the implementation are analyzed. The review of modern digital aviation systems in the visible and infrared spectral ranges is carried out and their capabilities in terms of the meeting the OST requirements are considered. The results of analytical (computational) and experimental studies of the achievable tactical specification for the digital observation suite on a base of the native AN-30B aircraft are given. The algorithms and software for the optimization of digital observation suite specification are developed. The list of digital observation suite configurations with qualitative-costing criterion is substantiated. These materials are the part of developed scientific and methodological support to fulfill the certification of the tests for the Ukrainian observation aircraft according to the OST. The technical design and requirements to the digital system for remote sensing of the Ukrainian observation aircraft according to the OST are proved. Product Description popup.authors І.О.
