The object of the study is the process of inventory of land and land plots of institutions and enterprises of NAAS. The purpose of the work is to develop the main provisions and methodical recommendations for the development of the industry standard for inventory of land of state institutions and enterprises of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Methods of research - comparative and statistical analysis in the process of studying the quantitative composition of lands of agricultural land of state institutions, land areas for which there are or are not legal documents, the number of land registered in the State Land Cadastre; abstract-logical method - at theoretical generalizations and the formation of conclusions; economic and statistical - for the identification and comparison of the indicators of operational accounting of arable land and accounting of crop areas. The main negative consequences that have arisen at the present time as a result of the absence of corresponding documents certifying the rights to land plots of the institutions and enterprises of the National Academy of Sciences, as well as the lack of registration of land plots in the SLC, as well as the real rights to them, are determined. The analysis of changes in the structure of lands and legal status of lands that arose as a result of legal uncertainty of land use limits of certain institutions and enterprises of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. The main problems that arise when considering the composition of land, registration of land plots, determination of their purpose and form of ownership are shown. The main provisions of the branch standard and methodical recommendations on principles of inventory of land and land plots of institutions and organizations of NAAS are proposed. Based on the results of the performed researches, methodical recommendations for the main provisions of the sectoral standard of land inventory of state enterprises, organizations and institutions of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine have been developed. The effect of their implementation will be reflected in the development of the sectoral standard of inventory of land and in increasing the efficiency of the use and operational management of the land of institutions and enterprises of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
