The mathematical model and algorithms of control of the distributed generation system are developed. The study of electromechanical processes in the distributed generation system using the simulation model of the system was carried out. Obtained results of the research are novel in Ukraine. The developed control algorithms can be implemented when creating converters for variable speed wind turbines with the power up to 10 MW. The area of use is the production and transmission of electric energy.
