The results of own measurements with the sunphotometer of the optical characteristics of aerosols in the atmosphere over Kiev were uploaded to the AERONET International Database. Comparison of the PM2.5/PM10 particle concentration data with the aerosol optical thickness of the atmosphere by remote measurements in Kiev was performed. Atmospheric pollution by PM2.5 particles was modeled using the GEOS-Chem chemical transport model, and seasonal variations in the PM2.5 aerosol distribution were determined. A device model has been developed for an air quality monitoring station based on the PMS3003 laser air pollution sensor. The software for ATmega microcontroller and specialized software for reading, reproducing and saving measurement results on the operator's computer are developed. The model of the device allows measuring the concentration of PM1/PM2.5/PM10.
