The object of research is the processes of conditioning of liquid boron-containing radioactive waste from the nuclear power plant. The purpose of the work is to develop the scientific basis for the creation of technologically and economically sound solutions for the conditioning of radioactive waste from the NPP (primarily liquid radioactive waste) in order to ensure guaranteed safe long-term storage and disposal in the conditions of surface repositories. Method of investigation - thermogravimetric analysis; general chemical analysis of solutions and determination of pH; atomic absorption spectrophotometry, mathematical-statistical analysis of data; methods of synthesis of composite materials on the basis of modified clay polymers and artificial minerals; determination of radiation (irradiation by electrons) and chemical and frost resistance To achieve the goal at the current stage, it was completed: o determining the density of samples of composites; o test of compound samples for bending and compression for the assessment of the quality of applied cement; o mechanical strength tests were performed with uniaxial compression of samples of the compound, including after the "freeze-freezing" cycles; o the research of the thermal stability of composite materials with the help of DTA / TGA analysis was performed; o Experiments on irradiation of cement compounds with electron irradiation on linear electron accelerators (electron energy - 10 MeV) (NSC KhPTI); o the regularities of an important technological parameter are determined - kinetics of setting of the compounds; o A factor experiment was conducted to determine the optimal component ratios The synthesized samples are stronger than the norm set by the requirements for cemented radioactive waste (strength not less than 4.9 MPa). The rate of leakage of stable Cs was, depending on the calculation method (2 ? 7), o 10-3 g / (cm2 o day). Samples of cement compounds after ?-irradiation up to a dose of 10 kGy retain high pressure strength and meet the regulated requirements. A scheme of conditioning of boronizing LRW with composition of components was developed and recommended, which corresponds most to the values of the main normed indicators in accordance with GOST. As a result of the factor experiment, we obtain equations that allow us to predict the values of the normalized parameters when the composition of the compounds is changed Foreseeable assumptions about the development of the research object are the search for the optimum technology for the conditioning of liquid boron-containing radioactive waste from the NPP by slag-geopolymercement with the use of alkalis contained in LRW and with the use of new sorbents.
