The calculation model was used in the study of the influence of the transmission line structure on the results of the task decision of selecting the optimal configuration of the system of emergency states monitoring and improved on the results of such studies. Also, the computational model is used for practical analysis of the effectiveness of FI setting in networks of 6/10 kV, which is confirmed by the corresponding implementation act. On the basis of performed scientific and practical works the expediency of development of the proposed approaches with the aim of their use for solving the problems of choosing the optimal configuration of fault control systems in 6/10 kV distribution networks has been noted.
