The theoretical model for calculating the crack resistance and fracture energy of a brittle composite material of the matrix inclusion type is proposed, taking into account the bending of the front of the crack between the obstacles before the final destruction of the material.he durability and fracture resistance of ceramic materials made in different ways have been analyzed. The advantages of low temperature reaction synthesis are shown for obtaining high-density refractory ceramic materials with an ultra-microdisperse structure, which determines the increased mechanical properties. To do this, one must create one of the two composite structures based on the strengthening of the fine ceramic matrix by introducing it into it: 1) as many larger (> 30 microns) high-modulus inclusions as possible, or 2) 10-15 percent by volume of soft inclusions of 0.3 - 1 ?m.
