It is known that in the serum of human blood contains about 10 thousand proteins and peptides, the interaction between which is an important condition for the realization of their biological activity. Previously, it was first discovered that in the blood serum of patients with multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis and Alzheimer's disease there is a short form of nonconventional myosin 48 kDa (48 / Myo 1C) in high concentration. To find out the biological role of this protein, we searched for protein partners in human serum with a relationship of up to 48 kDa / Myo 1C. To do this, we used affinity chromatography of serum proteins on ferromagnetic microspheres with serum myosin immobilized on them. Probable protein partners of 48 kDa / Myo 1C were found to be detected using a pulsed electrophoresis and mass spectrophotometry of purified proteins. These include immunoglobulins of the class M and G, as well as protein inhibitors of serum proteases (alpha 2 - macroglobulin, anti thrombin) and proteins involved in the activation of the complement system (component 3, isoform CRA_a).
