The purpose of the work is to investigate the peculiarities of the formation of adaptive reactions in soybeans under the influence of viral infection and abiotic factors. Methods of research: biometric, immunoassay, PCR, electrophoresis of spare proteins, statistical analysis. Results: the study of the biochemical composition of virussinised soybean seeds showed the presence of changes in the basic biochemical parameters characterizing the quality of seeds (protein content, the main fractions of spare proteins - glycine and beta-conglycine, fat, carbohydrates, isoflavones, lectins activity, lipoxygenase, trypsin inhibitor) under the influence of viral infection. Peculiarities for changing these indices depending on the variety and conditions of cultivation were detected. The determination of the relative moisture content, proline content and lectin content in the leaves of the 2 upper tiers in soybean varieties, which differed in terms of drought tolerance, in vegetation phases, which are most vulnerable to moisture deficiency - in the phases of flowering, bob formation and filling of beans. The obtained results showed that in the pouring stage of beans there was a significant increase in the content of all studied parameters in drought-resistant soybean varieties compared with non-drought-resistant. Іmplementation: The data obtained are the basis for the development of methods for assessing the level of resistance to viral diseases and the level of drought tolerance of soybean in the early stages of breeding. Scope of use: research institutes of NAAS of Ukraine.
